Ježibaba is a 3D puzzle game in which you can use an orbit model to manipulate the shadows casted by abstract objects to create the key characters in a story told by the two slavic folklore creatures Baba Yaga and Koschei.

NARRATIVE
Koschei tells the story of how he met Baba Yaga and how she stole his soul and thus made him immortal.
They are at the player's side while solving the puzzles and bicker from time to time. Even the player is not spared by the two. From time to time, they teasingly comment on the player's decisions and give them hints.
CONCEPTS
One of my tasks was to create the volume change (VFX color change) that comes with the change of scene. To avoid ripping the player out of the game world, we decided to use analog color schemes for the four different scenes.

SOUND DESIGN
The majority of the sounds were recorded by ourselves in the sound studio of the university HTW. We used our voices, everyday objects and even the studio's entrance door.
I composed the main theme the day it was recorded. We integrated it into the game without modifying it due to time constraints.
The vocals of Baba Yaga (Svenja Bette) and Koschei (Kai Bittighöfer) were voiced by members of the team. I was directing, giving feedback and working on the mixer.
TEAM
In the end, I can say that it was an honor to be part of this team. Not only did we manage to create a fun and unique game with almost no experience, but we also grew with every challenge we had.
Each of us had the chance to try things out and this created an environment where we not only learned with each other, but also from each other. I truly believe this team was one of a kind and the memories we created are ones I will never forget.
